Pittsburgh ReelAbilities Film Festival: October 20 – November 2

PITTSBURGH, PA — FISA Foundation and JFilm: The Pittsburgh Jewish Film Forum co-present the 4th annual ReelAbilities Film Festival (Oct. 20 –Nov. 2), showcasing films about the lives, stories, and artistic expression of people with different disabilities. According to FISA Foundation, Executive Director, Kristy Trautmann, “We anticipate a terrific festival that will raise awareness, promote dialogue, change perceptions, and celebrate the many contributions of people with disabilities to
our society.”

RECEPTIONS:
All screenings will be followed by receptions including vegan, kosher, and gluten-free options.

ART EXHIBIT:
An art exhibit featuring works from “Reinventing the Wheel”will be displayed in the Rodef Shalom commons area from October 20 –November 2. Reinventing the Wheel is a photography project that paired twenty-one people with spinal cord injury with twenty-one photographers from cities nationwide to create photo essays through a realistic, positive and creative lens.

All films and programs will take place at Rodef Shalom.
