Planning for Individuals with Disabilities

PITTSBURGH, PA — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Planning for the future for individuals with special needs is the topic of an upcoming program co-presented by Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) and Jewish Residential Services (JRS).

The presentation will be held on Tuesday, December 6 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Friendship Circle in Squirrel Hill (1922 Murray Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217).

Featured speakers include Jillian Zacks, Attorney at Strassberger McKenna Gutnick and Gefsky, Patty Yerina, Education and Outreach Coordinator at ACHIEVA Family Trust, Nicole Iole, Director of guardianship services at JF&CS and representatives from Reliable Payee Service. The program will provide information and resources related to planning for the future and ensuring the long-term well-being and care of children and adults with special needs, such as guardianships, special needs trusts, ABLE accounts and representative payee services. The program is appropriate for individuals with special needs and their loved ones.
