This is what people say when Itzhak Perlman plays the violin.
He is a world-renowned musician, but also a refugee and a person living with a disability. Now, he is the subject of a new documentary called “Itzhak” that tells his poignant story. It will be screened at this year’s JFILM Festival.
Also showing this year, is “Keep the Change,” a charming romantic comedy about an unlucky-in-love David who is mandated to attend a support group for adults living with disabilities. He is sure of one thing: he doesn’t belong there. But when he’s paired with the vivacious and confident Sarah, sparks fly and his resentment towards being singled out as different is put to the test.
